Job summary

Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc., a Davey company, seeks a civil/environmental or water resources engineer to work on wetlands, streams, and water resources in Millersville, MD. Responsibilities include stream restoration design, hydrologic/hydraulic analysis, and permitting support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/environmental/water resources or biological engineering, or closely related discipline.
• EIT credential required.
• Master’s degree preferred in civil/environmental or biological engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Stream restoration design and project drawings.
• Stream assessment and monitoring.
• Stream restoration construction oversight.
• Hydrologic watershed analysis.
• Hydraulic analysis of open and closed drainage systems.
• SWM/LID/BMP design.
• Living shoreline assessments and design.
• Wetlands mitigation design and drawings.
• Assistance with Clean Water Act permitting.
• Chesapeake Bay preservation studies and approvals.
• Prepare presentations for hearings and client reviews.
• Autodesk CAD work.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in civil/environmental/water resources or biological engineering, or closely related discipline

EIT

Master’s degree in civil/environmental or biological engineering, or closely related discipline
