Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc., a Davey company, seeks a civil/environmental engineer to join our Millersville, MD team. You will work on streams, wetlands, and water resources projects, including restoration design, hydrologic modelling, and living shoreline assessments.

The role offers growth through diverse projects, CAD-driven design work, and a collaborative team environment. A bachelor’s (and EIT) are required; master’s is preferred, with up to five years of experience encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/environmental/water resources or biological engineering, or closely related discipline.
• EIT certification.
• Preference: up to five years of relevant experience.
• Experience with stream restoration design and hydrologic/hydraulic modelling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stream restoration design and project drawings.
• Stream assessment and monitoring.
• Hydrologic analysis of watersheds and hydraulic analyses of drainage systems.
• Living shoreline assessments and design.
• Wetlands mitigation design and permitting.
• Autodesk AutoCAD/Civil 3D work.
• Prepare presentations for hearings and client reviews.
• Assist with SWMM and related modelling.
• Other civil and environment-related studies.
