Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc., a Davey company, seeks a civil/environmental or water resources engineer to join our Millersville, MD team. You will work on stream restoration, hydrologic/hydraulic analysis, wetlands mitigation, and living shoreline projects, with opportunities in AutoCAD and related tools.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering and an EIT, with preferred experience in stream restoration and hydrologic modelling.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in civil/environmental/water resources or biological engineering, or closely related discipline
• REQUIRED: EIT
• PREFERRED: Up to five years of relevant experience
• PREFERRED: Experience with stream restoration design
• PREFERRED: Experience with hydrologic and/or hydraulic modelling
• PREFERRED: Experience with floodplain modelling
• PREFERRED: Experience in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, SWMM, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and TR-55
• PREFERRED: Master’s degree in civil/environmental or biological engineering, or closely related discipline

• Living shoreline assessments and design
• Wetlands mitigation design, project drawings
• Chesapeake Bay preservation studies and approvals
• Preparing presentations for hearings and client review
• Other civil and environmentally-related studies
• Autodesk CAD work
