Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. invites motivated students for a Water Resources Internship for Summer 2027. Interns will work a 40-hour week with a minimum 10 weeks of duty from mid-May to end of August, guided by a dedicated supervisor and mentor.

Responsibilities include stormwater modeling, regulatory documentation, and field data collection. This entry-level opportunity requires enrollment in an ABET-accredited engineering program and a minimum GPA, with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Entry level internship with no previous experience required.
• Currently enrolled in an ABET-Accredited College Engineering Program.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the team with stormwater modeling, drainage design, and flood studies.
• Support hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, watershed evaluations, and FEMA documentation.
• Help prepare construction drawings, design computations, and technical reports.
• Conduct background research, field investigations, and data collection.
• Work under the supervision of project engineers and project managers on active projects across multiple states.
