Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. invites students to apply for the Water Resources Internship for Summer 2027. This full-time temporary (seasonal) position offers a 40-hour work week with a dedicated supervisor and mentor.

Interns will engage in stormwater modeling, drainage design, flood studies, and related analytic tasks across multiple states. Ideal candidates are pursuing an ABET-accredited engineering degree, with a minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.

Qualifications

• Entry level position; no prior experience required.
• Currently enrolled in ABET-accredited college engineering program.
• Preferred GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the team with stormwater modeling, drainage design, and flood studies.
• Support hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, watershed evaluations, and FEMA compliance documentation.
• Help prepare construction drawings, design computations, and technical reports.
• Conduct background research, field investigations, and data collection.
• Work under the supervision of project engineers and project managers on active projects across multiple states.
