Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Water Resources Intern for Summer 2027 to join the team in Rock Hill, SC (and other listed locations).

The internship runs for at least 10 weeks, with a 40-hour work week, under a dedicated supervisor and mentorship. Responsibilities include stormwater modeling, drainage design, and flood studies, plus supporting hydrologic/hydraulic analyses, FEMA documentation, construction drawings, and field investigations across multiple states.

Qualifications

• This is an entry level position with no prior internship required.
• Currently enrolled in an ABET-Accredited College Engineering Program
• GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist the team with stormwater modeling, drainage design, and flood studies.
• Support hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, watershed evaluations, and FEMA compliance documentation.
• Help prepare construction drawings, design computations, and technical reports.
• Conduct background research, field investigations, and data collection.
• Work under the supervision of project engineers and project managers on active projects across multiple states
