Job summary

WSP USA in Baltimore seeks an experienced Project Manager in the Mid-Atlantic Water Ecosystem and Resiliency Group to provide high-level technical guidance in river/stream restoration, hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, and design justification.

The role requires 7–10 years in water resources engineering, a Civil/Environmental Engineering degree, and strong regulatory knowledge. Licensed engineers are preferred. Travel may be required as projects demand.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with focus on Water Resources.
  • 7–10 years of post-education water resources experience.
  • Engineer license preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of water resources engineering principles and permitting.
  • Experience with ecological restoration, floodplain delineation, hydrology & hydraulics.
  • Ability to coordinate with regulators and stakeholders.
  • Strong technical writing and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level technical assistance in water resources engineering and design justification.
  • Oversee mid-level projects including budgets, hours, and permits.
  • Develop project scopes, timelines, and budgets in compliance with codes and regulations.
  • Coordinate design plans and ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations of findings and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver client solutions.
  • Supervise data collection, modeling, and environmental impact assessments.
