Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Project Management professional to lead water resources work in the Mid-Atlantic region. You will guide data collection for water samples, perform high-level analyses, and manage design, permitting, and reporting across river restoration, floodplain analysis, and stormwater projects.

You will coordinate with agencies, supervise teams, prepare scopes and budgets, and deliver data-driven recommendations while upholding QA/QC standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • 7–10 years of post-education water resources experience
  • Engineer license preferred
  • Proficient knowledge of water resource engineering principles and environmental permitting
  • Well-defined knowledge of Ecological Restoration, Stormwater Management, Hydrology & Hydraulics Design

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance with data collection and analysis for water resources projects
  • Perform high-level water resources engineering work including hydrology, hydraulics, floodplain modeling, and water quality studies
  • Oversee cross-functional teams on mid-level projects including budgets and scheduling
  • Develop proposals, scopes, timelines, and budgets compliant with regulations
  • Coordinate design plans and ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance
  • Prepare technical reports and visually encoded data presentations
