Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer to join our Dam Safety and Water Resources practice. The role may be based in multiple Mid-Atlantic offices, including Philadelphia and Exton, with responsibility for leading complex dam safety and flood risk projects.

You will mentor staff, drive project strategy, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality solutions for state, federal, utility, and private‑sector clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE), with ability to obtain additional state licensures as needed.
• Master’s degree in engineering with focus in Water Resources is preferred.
• Experience in dam, hydraulic infrastructure, and flood risk management.

Responsibilities

• Perform dam and levee engineering analyses and dam safety inspections.
• Model hydrology/hydraulic scenarios using HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and projects from scoping to delivery.
• Prepare technical reports and client presentations.
• Mentor junior staff and support business development activities.
