Job summary

The Thrasher Group in Canton, OH is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to join our Water Resource team. You will design residential and commercial water resource projects, producing drawings for permitting and construction and collaborating with a team of engineers.

Requirements include a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited) and 3–5 years of experience; proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D is a plus; strong time management and communication skills are

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program is required.
3–5 years of industry experience.
Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Civil 3D are a plus.
Strong time management and communication skills; ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Responsibilities

Create technical drawings and plans for permitting and construction of water resource projects.
Provide technical support during construction activities, including reviewing plans.
Prepare cost estimates for all water resource projects.
Develop engineering solutions for water resource projects and collaborate with engineers to design optimal plans for clients.
Work with construction inspection personnel to ensure the design intent is met.
Operate independently within a deadline-driven industry.
