Job summary

The Thrasher Group, Inc. is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to join the Canonsburg, PA Water Resources team. You will apply your engineering knowledge to design residential and commercial water resources projects, collaborating with a driven team in a fast-paced environment.

We seek a candidate with a B.S. in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited) and 3–5 years of water/wastewater experience; EI/EIT is a plus, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Education: B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• EI/EIT certification desired but not required.
• 3-5 years of related water/wastewater experience.

Responsibilities

• Create technical drawings and plans for permitting and construction of water resource projects, including design, layout, grading, drainage, and erosion and sediment controls.
• Provide technical support during construction activities, including reviewing plans.
• Prepare cost estimates for water resource projects.
• Develop engineering solutions for water resource challenges.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop optimal designs for clients.
• Coordinate with construction inspection personnel to ensure contracted work meets design intent.
• Operate independently within a deadline-driven environment.
