Job summary

Reeves Young is seeking an Assistant Project Manager – Water Resources in Knoxville, TN to join a collaborative team. You will provide administrative and technical support to the Project Management Team, process RFIs and submittals, update schedules, and help ensure projects meet our high five requirements while training Office Engineers.

You will assist in developing project controls, tracking statuses, coordinating shop drawings, and using CAD tools to ensure various elements fit together.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting project management teams on construction projects.
• Ability to process RFIs and submittals and track schedule changes.
• Proficiency with CAD coordination and shop drawing reviews is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and technical assistance to the Project Management Team including daily processing of RFIs and submittals, updates to project schedule, and other activities to ensure a project meets the company 'high five' requirements.
• Train and develop Office Engineers and support the Project Manager.
• Create, update and maintain project controls tracking status, changes, RFIs, shop drawings, quality controls, safety, and financial performance.
• Coordinate use of CAD tools to verify spatial relationships and fit among project elements.
• Travel to project locations, including extended stays at project sites as required.
