Job summary

Reeves Young in Rock Hill, SC seeks a project controls professional to create, update and maintain project controls tracking status, changes, RFIs, submittals, quality, safety and financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.

You will manage material tracking logs and support the change management process, producing regular reports using Viewpoint, Procore, MS Project and Bluebeam to keep offices and field teams aligned.

Qualifications

• Experience with project controls and cost tracking across multiple projects.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs and contract documents.
• Familiarity with construction management software and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Create, update and maintain a variety of project controls that track the status of projects or task orders, changes, RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, quality, safety and financial performance.
• Manage material tracking logs to ensure buyout, submittals and shop drawings are awarded, scheduled and available to support office and field teams.
• Assist in ensuring all aspects of the project comply with contract terms and legal requirements of the project and community.
• Manage or support the change management process, including updating logs, routing documents to vendors, obtaining pricing, and writing change orders.
• Maintain and regularly produce reports using Viewpoint, Procore, Adobe, Bluebeam and MS Project.

What Can You Expect

• Create, update and maintain a variety of project controls that track the status of individual projects or task orders, changes to projects or task orders, RFI, shop drawings and submittal, matters involving quality controls, safety, financial performance, close-out and other aspects of the project(s) or task order(s).
• Manage the material tracking log by utilizing experience and forethought to ensure buyout, submittals, shop drawings and samples have been awarded, scheduled and available to support the Office and Field team. Knows the single project intimately from Preconstruction through Close Out and manages all logs individually, with a peer, or a Project Engineer.
• Assist in ensuring that all aspects of the project are compliant with all contract terms and legal requirement that govern the project and the community in which the project(s) take place.
• Manage or support the change management process, by updating logs, routing source documents to vendors, obtaining pricing, developing estimates and proposals, writing change orders and other related activities.
• Maintain and regularly produce reports utilizing software such as Viewpoint, ProCore, Adobe, Bluebeam and MS Project.

What You Bring to the Table

• Must develop an understanding of process management and the ability and agility to perform work that is contracted through a variety of delivery methods.
• Must possess working knowledge of or demonstrate willingness to learn how to use the following software applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, Bluebeam, Procore/Project Sight, ProCore, MS Project, Viewpoint, Viewpoint Field Work Center.
