Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking a motivated student for a Water Resources Internship to join our team for Summer 2027.

Summer interns will work a 40-hour week, with at least 10 weeks of work required during the period from mid-May to the end of August. Interns will be assigned a dedicated supervisor and mentor, are required to attend planned activities Responsibilities include: Assist the team with stormwater modeling, drainage design, and flood studies.

Qualifications

• This is an entry level position where no previous experience is required.
• Currently enrolled in an ABET-Accredited College Engineering Program
• GPA 3.0 or higher preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist the team with stormwater modeling, drainage design, and flood studies.
• Support hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, watershed evaluations, and FEMA compliance documentation.
• Help prepare construction drawings, design computations, and technical reports.
• Conduct background research, field investigations, and data collection.
• Work under the supervision of project engineers and project managers on active projects across multiple states.
