Qualifications

• Able to analyze and interpret data and meet deadlines.
• Currently pursuing a Civil Engineering degree with emphasis in Water Resources and Hydraulics preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and strong written communication.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of a Senior Engineer on drainage and stormwater design for highway projects.
• Collaborate with other staff on hydrology and hydraulics tasks.
• Provide technical support including hydrologic and hydraulic analysis.
• Gain hands-on experience sizing culverts, ponds, and evaluating bridges.
• Assist with technical studies, reports, and plan components.
• Support design and modeling of storm sewer systems and regulations compliance.
• Contribute to plan production, review field data, and prepare calculations.
• Develop understanding of water management's relation to transportation infrastructure.
