STV is seeking a Water Resources/Hydraulics Engineer in a hybrid arrangement based in Columbia or North Charleston, SC. The role involves leading drainage design for transportation projects, preparing stormwater documentation, and mentoring junior staff.

You will interact with clients, manage schedules and budgets, and use tools like Geopak Drainage, HEC-RAS, and ArcGIS to deliver compliant, high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; PE licensure required in SC.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with SCDOT/local permitting and project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Independently prepare storm water reports and hydraulic studies.
• Prepare stormwater permit documentation for agencies.
• Lead drainage design on transportation projects.
• Mentor junior staff and manage project budgets/schedules.
• Interface with clients and project managers; ensure quality deliverables.
