Job summary
Advanced Engineering and Environmental Services (AE2S) announces a water resources internship in Minnesota for students pursuing civil or environmental engineering. You will gain real-world experience on water resources projects, with exposure to design, reporting, construction, and client management.
Qualified applicants are enrolled in a water resources-focused program; familiarity with AutoCAD/Civil 3D is a plus.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or related degree program.
- Academic focus/emphasis in water resources.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD/Civil 3D a plus.
- Previous coursework or experience in water resources-related projects.
- Flexible schedule with ability to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
- Ability to multi-task, take initiative, and adapt to changes with ease.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel as required.
Responsibilities
- Assist in design and construction of water resources-related projects.
- Develop skills in report preparation, design, construction, and client management while supporting water resources-related projects.
- Perform site reports on water resources-related engineering projects.
- Anticipated Starting Salary: $21-$23 per hour DOE (compensation subject to education, experience, skillset). Position posted until filled.
