Knight Piésold invites you to join our Summer 2027 Internship program, offering real-world mining and infrastructure engineering experience and mentorship from seasoned engineers.

You’ll work on diverse projects across North America and abroad, using industry-standard software, and grow through our knowledge-sharing culture, field visits, and a strong focus on safety and professional development.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Civil or Mining Engineering or related field.
• Strong interest in developing engineering skills in a consulting environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support mining and infrastructure projects under experienced engineers.
• Prepare civil layouts using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Contribute to design reports and proposals.
• Participate in field investigations and QA/QC activities.
• Assist with geotechnical analyses and evaluations.
• Support permitting, reclamation and closure activities.
