Job summary

WSP USA seeks a Water Resources Engineering Intern for our Seattle office in the 12-week summer program. You will work alongside senior staff, supporting a range of engineering tasks to build technical and professional skills.

The role targets students currently enrolled in Undergraduate or Graduate engineering programs with a potential graduation date after 2027. Start date may be flexible; mentorship and exposure to real projects are provided.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in an accredited engineering undergraduate program with expected graduation Dec 2027 or later.
• Must be 18 or older and authorized to work in the United States at internship start.
• Interest in water or related field with desire to learn through real projects.
• Good communication and ability to work with engineers and non-engineers.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
• Learn basics of Civil, Chemical or Environmental Engineering.
• Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations.
• Support preparation of final design plans, provisions, and cost estimates.
• Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation.
• Complete training on assigned tasks.
