RS&H in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a Water Resources Engineering Intern to collaborate with top engineering associates on stormwater and drainage projects. This role offers hands-on experience in design and plan preparation within the Transportation and Water Resources Engineering teams.

You will assist in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, data gathering for reports, and preparation of plans and cost estimates, while developing technical writing and communication skills in a supportive,

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent written and verbal communication; intermediate technical writing and communication.
Ability to work on multiple assignments and in a team environment.
GPA 2.5 or above.

Responsibilities

Assist with stormwater management, drainage design, hydrologic, hydraulic and water quality modeling and environmental permitting.
Prepare plans, designs, specifications, and cost estimates.
Gather and provide data for the preparation of engineering reports and studies.
Perform and review design calculations.
