Stanley Consultants invites applications for a Student Intern in Civil or Environmental Engineering in Chicago, IL. The role will support water, wastewater, water reuse and water resources projects in our Water/Wastewater Department, with potential for future full-time employment.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering, are at least sophomores with a 3.0 GPA, and show interest in water resources.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil/Environmental Engineering.
• Sophomore year or higher with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Interest in water, wastewater, water reuse and/or water resources.

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering tasks: data collection and analysis; verify design computations and quantity estimates.
• Prepare preliminary calculations and designs for treatment processes, piping, and pumping facilities.
• Assist with development of reports, specifications, and plans; participate in on-site construction observation.
