STV’s Water Resources practice is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to grow a diverse portfolio of stormwater, hydrologic/hydraulic, floodplain management, and water resources projects in the Philadelphia area.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical foundation in water resources engineering, experience with stormwater management and floodplain mapping, and the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical solutions for public-sector and infrastructure clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental/Water Resources Engineering or related field
• Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience in water resources engineering
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred
• Experience with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software (HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, InfoWorks, SWMM, HydroCAD)
• Experience with floodplain mapping and FEMA studies preferred
• Proficiency with ArcGIS or similar GIS software

Responsabilités

• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for watersheds, drainage systems, floodplains
• Develop, calibrate, and review hydrologic/hydraulic models
• Conduct floodplain studies and mapping analyses for state/local programs
• Prepare plans, calculations, reports, and project documentation
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across civil, structural, environmental, GIS disciplines
• Assist with client meetings, proposals, and presentations
• Mentor junior engineers and support staff
