STV is seeking a Market Sector Lead - Water Resources Engineer for our Water Practice Group in Houston or Dallas, Texas. You’ll contribute to growth and delivery of stormwater, drainage, floodplain management, and flood-risk projects as part of a growing water resources practice.

In this role you’ll lead hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, model development, and client engagement while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with regional teams to deliver resilient water infrastructure solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental or related field.
• PE license required or equivalent credential.
• Minimum 10 years in water resources engineering or related field.
• Experience with stormwater management and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling.

Responsabilités

• Lead hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for watersheds, drainage systems, rivers, streams, and floodplains.
• Manage stormwater, drainage, floodplain mapping, flood-risk assessment, and watershed planning projects.
• Develop and review 1D/2D models using HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, InfoWorks ICM, XPSWMM.
• Serve as project manager or senior technical lead and manage scope, schedule, budget, staffing, quality, and financials.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and maintain client communications.
• Provide mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.
• Identify and pursue new water resources opportunities with clients.
