Job summary

Carollo Engineers in Florida is hiring a Senior Civil/Environmental Engineer to lead water resources projects in Florida, including planning, design, and construction for water, wastewater, and reuse facilities. You will apply modeling, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and guide client engagements.

The ideal candidate holds a PE license, 6–12 years of experience, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office and project software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering is required.
• 6–12 years of experience in water resources projects.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer is required.
• Experience with selection and optimization of multi-benefit water supply projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills is required.
• Ability to apply critical thinking to develop options and recommendations to solve technical problems.
• Ability to present to groups and communicate effectively with clients and project team.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Help deliver water resources, water supply planning, and reuse projects in Florida.
• Work on water resources studies and integrated water supply plans.
• Conduct calculations and analyses of water supplies and demands.
• Apply hydraulic, hydrologic, or hydrogeologic modeling to support planning and design.
• Prepare reports and assist with project management activities.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and scientists.
• Some travel may be required.
