Job summary

Carollo Engineers, a leading water-focused engineering firm, seeks a Professional Civil/Environmental Engineer in Orlando, FL. With over 90 years in water, wastewater, stormwater, and reuse, the role supports planning, design, permitting, and construction-phase services for core water infrastructure projects.

You will work with expert professionals, contributing to project delivery and long-term technical growth within a dedicated water-services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional Engineer licensure required.
• 4–8 years of water/wastewater engineering experience.
• Experience with water treatment, wastewater, conveyance, stormwater, reuse, permitting, design, modeling, or construction services.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering work related to water and wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure.
• Support planning and design projects for water, wastewater, stormwater, and reuse facilities.
• Prepare technical reports, plans, specifications, and memoranda.
• Develop cost estimates for water and wastewater projects.
• Conduct modeling, data analysis, permitting support, and alternative analyses.
• Provide engineering services during construction and field activities.
• Coordinate with project teams, clients, and technical specialists to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Contribute to sustainable water infrastructure solutions protecting public health.
