Carollo Engineers, a leading water-focused engineering firm, seeks a mid-level civil engineer to contribute to municipal water and wastewater projects across planning, design, and construction phases. You will work on plant expansions, regional studies, and water reuse initiatives, collaborating with seasoned professionals to deliver sustainable solutions.

The role requires a PE license, 6–12 years’ experience, and proficiency with Microstation or AutoCAD.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering
6–12 years of experience in the field
Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE)
Experience with water and wastewater facilities and related systems
Design and construction phase experience for large projects
Broad civil engineering knowledge and related specialties
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
Experience with Microstation or AutoCAD

Responsibilities

Work on municipal water and wastewater treatment projects and major plant expansions
Perform engineering work across water and wastewater infrastructure
Prepare designs, reports, plans, specs, and cost estimates
Check conformity with plans via field inspection and testing
Assist with technical memoranda, reports, and deliverables
Data entry and analysis; participate in site investigations and pilot testing
