Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a Water Resources Engineer in Cherry Hill, NJ to work on stormwater, drainage, and watershed projects. The role targets mid-level to senior engineers with 4–15 years of water resources experience and strong modeling skills.

The position involves coordinating with regulatory agencies, preparing reports and construction plans, and mentoring junior staff as needed. A rigorous civil engineering background and EIT are required or in progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• EIT required; PE preferred (or on track).
• Strong experience with modeling software and design standards.
• Knowledge of NJDEP regulations a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and analysis of stormwater management systems, drainage, and erosion & sediment control.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling (HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, etc.).
• Prepare reports, permitting documents, and construction plans.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage projects and mentor junior staff (for more experienced candidates).
