KCI Technologies, Inc. in North Carolina seeks an entry-level civil engineer with expertise in stormwater modeling and drainage design to join a growing team of water resources professionals.

The ideal candidate will contribute to flood studies, hydrologic analyses, and plan development. This role supports projects across NC and neighboring states, collaborating closely with senior engineers and designers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-Accredited Program.
  • General knowledge of required design software (MicroStation, AutoCAD, Revit).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Good communication and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Complete hydrologic and hydraulic computations, reports, and modeling (drainage improvement, watershed evaluation, bridge and culvert replacements, floodplain modeling).
  • Design and prepare construction drawings for various water resources projects.
  • Develop multiple projects and deliverables, including plans, specifications, technical reports, and cost estimates, within the schedule and budget.
  • Perform field investigations, surveys, and field equipment usage.
  • Join a diverse team with active projects in NC, SC, TN, GA, FL, VA, and DE.
