Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking an entry-level civil engineer to join our water resources team in the United States.

The role focuses on stormwater modeling, drainage design, and hydraulic analyses, contributing to flood studies and master planning. The successful candidate will work with a team on open and closed drainage design, FEMA-related documentation, and plan development across multiple projects and states, including TN.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• 0–2 years of experience in engineering.
• Proficiency with MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Revit.
• Strong skills in MS Word and Excel.
• Good communication and technical writing abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic computations, reports, and modeling for drainage improvements and flood-related analyses.
• Prepare construction drawings for water resources projects.
• Support multiple projects with plans, specs, technical reports, and cost estimates under supervision.
• Engage in field investigations, surveys, and data collection as needed.
• Join a diverse team with projects across NC, SC, TN, GA, FL, VA, and DE.
