Job summary

RK&K is seeking a Water Resources Project Engineer to join our team. You will work on drainage/stormwater management, erosion control, hydrology/hydraulic modeling, watershed studies, and stream restoration across RK&K's project portfolio.

The role emphasizes designing facilities, producing plans with MicroStation, InRoads/OpenRoads, GIS, and coordinating with project teams and public agencies. A PE or ability to obtain within 12 months is required, with 4–8 years of water resources

Qualifications

• BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering required.
• 4–8 years of water resources or transportation engineering experience.
• PE or the ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Design stormwater management facilities for public, commercial, industrial, or residential infrastructure projects.
• Deliver drainage design, flood studies, watershed plans, erosion/sediment control plans, scour analysis, outfall stabilization/stream restoration plans.
• Provide excellent client services with a focus on quality and timeliness.
• Coordinate with project manager, engineers, drafters, surveyors, inspectors, public agency officials, and clients.
• Develop civil plans using MicroStation, InRoads, OpenRoads and GIS per design standards.
