Job summary

RK&K seeks a Water Resources Project Engineer to work on drainage/stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, hydrology/hydraulics modeling, watershed studies, and stream restoration across RK&K's project portfolio.

Responsibilities include designing stormwater facilities, delivering a range of water resource projects, coordinating with team members and clients, and using MicroStation, In-Roads, OpenRoads and GIS to produce compliant plans.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field.
• 4-8 years in water resources or transportation engineering.
• PE or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.
• Experience with MicroStation/AutoCAD and GIS.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and design stormwater facilities for public works and private projects.
• Deliver drainage design, flood studies, watershed plans, and erosion control plans.
• Provide excellent client service with quality and timeliness.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, drafters, and clients.
• Develop civil plans using MicroStation, In-Roads, OpenRoads and GIS.
• Provide site support during construction.
• Prepare permit applications addressing environmental issues.
