Job summary

Houston Engineering, Inc. is seeking a motivated civil engineer to perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling of rural watersheds and riverine systems as well as support field investigations. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree and will have up to 3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience in Civil Engineering.
• Some experience with hydrological and hydraulic modeling software is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling of rural watersheds and riverine systems.
• Prepare floodplain and watershed studies in compliance with FEMA standards.
• Support Stormwater design projects and evaluate feasibility of design approaches.
