Verdantas invites entry‑level Staff Engineer candidates to join our water collection systems team in Mentor, OH. You will support the design, implementation, and maintenance of water collection systems, working with senior engineers and project managers to deliver projects on time.

The role is ideal for recent graduates or early‑career professionals with interest in hydraulics, field work, and regulatory topics. You will gain hands‑on experience through site visits and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Internship or co‑op experience in water resources or environmental engineering is preferred.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to water collection systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with sustainable water management practices is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the design and development of water collection systems, including pipelines, pumping stations, and treatment facilities.
• Conduct field inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation for project submissions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project planning and execution.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical input as needed.
• Perform data analysis and modeling to support engineering decisions.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and best practices in all project activities.
• Field conditions assessment, Confined Space Entry participation, flow monitoring, and other field data collection and review.
