Job summary

Verdantas in Mentor, OH is seeking a full-time Civil/Design technician to assist in infrastructure design for water, wastewater, and stormwater projects. You will prepare detailed design drafts and visual content using Revit, Civil 3D, and related tools, collaborating with staff engineers and project managers to meet project goals.

A Civil Engineering Technology degree or CAD/Drafting Technology is preferred, with strong verbal and written communication to interact with colleagues and clients.

Qualifications

• Verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with colleagues and clients
• Civil Engineering Technology Degree or CAD/Drafting Technology preferred
• Experience with design software such as Revit, Civil 3D, Civil MEP/Plant or equivalent tools

Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation and development of engineering design concepts for water, wastewater and stormwater projects
• Prepare detailed design drafts and visual content using design software
• Collaborate with staff engineers and project managers to deliver project requirements and objectives
• Revise and update designs based on feedback and project changes
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and project guidelines
• Maintain organized records of design drafts and related documents
• Assist in the preparation of presentations and design proposals
• Conduct research to stay updated with the latest design trends and techniques
