Job summary

Verdantas is seeking a Water & Wastewater Staff Engineer II to join our Akron or Mentor, OH office. You will support project teams in designing and delivering water and wastewater facilities, preparing reports, and developing hydraulic models.

You will work with Project Managers, mentors junior staff, and contribute to field investigations and design drawings. ABET-credited degree and 2+ years experience required; EIT/PE preferred. On-site work with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
• 2+ years in water & wastewater or related civil engineering projects
• Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is required
• Familiarity with computer models for hydraulic system analysis
• Must possess a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with engineering design for water and wastewater facilities
• Develop hydraulic models and perform engineering analysis
• Prepare engineering reports and feasibility studies
• Prepare design drawings, plans, sections, details, and profiles
• Participate in field investigations and permitting applications
• Provide construction administration support for projects
• Mentor junior staff as applicable
