Job summary

Verdantas, based in Mentor, Ohio, is seeking an Engineering Staff II to join our civil team. Recent graduates with 2–4 years of experience will work on municipal and infrastructure projects, gaining hands-on design, development, and problem-solving experience.

You’ll collaborate with mentors, apply technical knowledge, and contribute to meaningful projects. The role emphasizes growth, learning, and delivering data-driven solutions in a people-first culture.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2–4 years of civil-site and municipal engineering experience.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and ArcGIS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical planning and design support on civil utility projects such as storm and sanitary sewer systems.
• Prepare engineering calculations and design reports using local/state standards.
• Prepare construction plans with AutoCAD Civil 3D; assist with permits and cost estimates.
• Assist Project Managers and attend client and project meetings.
