Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 1+ years of civil engineering experience with hydrology, hydraulics, stormwater, or related work.
• Proficiency with ArcMap or QGIS for data processing and map generation.
• Familiarity with HEC-RAS or similar hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software.
• Strong understanding of hydrology, hydraulics, drainage, and stormwater management.
• Experience interpreting and applying engineering standards, codes, and permitting requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam for QA reviews and redlining.
• Ability to interpret project requirements and apply regulations with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Effective problem-solving skills and independent practical engineering solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication to explain complex concepts.
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to mentor junior engineers.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret project requirements, site constraints, geotechnical data into digital formats using GIS and HEC-RAS.
• Develop hydrologic and hydraulic models with minimal supervision.
• Assist design teams with calculations for culverts, stormwater features, and drainage channels.
• Optimize grading designs to minimize earthwork and improve site design.
• Develop hydrology and stormwater reports with accuracy and clarity.
• Quality control checks on work products and feedback to junior staff.
• Peer reviews of engineering deliverables to ensure EVS standards.
• Utilize Bluebeam and other tools to support QA processes.
• Review state/local codes and permitting requirements for site-specific compliance.
• Apply engineering principles to hydrologic models and data analysis.
• Develop delivery-ready stormwater and hydrology files for client/external use.
• Ensure analyses align with project scopes and client expectations.
• Guide junior staff on modeling and workflows.
• Help train junior engineers and develop technical skills.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to address challenges.
• Seek feedback and pursue ongoing technical development.
