Job summary

Stillpoint AEC in the Tampa area is seeking a Civil Engineer with water resources, stormwater, drainage design, and hydrologic/hydraulic analysis expertise. The role offers project leadership aligned with experience and licensure, with a mix of design, modeling, and regulatory work across water resources infrastructure.

You'll use HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, EPA SWMM, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and ArcGIS to develop plans, conduct floodplain analyses, and support FEMA processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Experience in water resources, stormwater, drainage or hydrologic/hydraulic analysis in consulting is preferred.
• PE licensure preferred; EITs progressing toward PE will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Design and support water resources and stormwater projects including drainage infrastructure, flood control, and watershed studies.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, stormwater modeling, and floodplain evaluations.
• Develop models to evaluate runoff, conveyance, flood elevations, and drainage performance.
• Coordinate with municipalities, regulatory agencies, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Prepare drainage reports, plans, specs, cost estimates, and construction documents.
