Job summary

HDR is hiring an EIT Water Resources professional to work with project engineers on the application of design engineering and modeling techniques for water resource projects serving municipalities. The role emphasizes hydraulics, hydrology modeling, stormwater systems, data collection, and presentations.

The candidate will produce design calculations, draft technical reports, and conduct water resources studies, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in HDR's Water Business Group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD; hydraulic modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Apply design engineering and modeling techniques to water resource projects for federal, state and local municipalities.
• Focus on hydraulics and hydrology modeling, stormwater systems modeling, data collection and presentations.
• Produce design calculations, draft technical reports and water resources studies.
• Perform other duties as needed.
