Job summary

GAI Consultants, Inc is seeking an EIT - Engineer in Training to work out of our Homestead, Cranberry, or Southpointe, PA office. The successful candidate will develop professionally into a well-rounded engineer in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

The position involves assisting in water/wastewater process and pipeline design projects, Civil Engineering design, field work, and AutoCAD/Civil 3D planning, with opportunities for growth and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering (MS a plus).
• EIT certification required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently on project tasks.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and BIM is desired.
• Knowledge of NPDES permitting.
• Knowledge of GIS software including ArcGIS for modeling water/waste networks.
• Industrial water or wastewater treatment experience in power/data center/manufacturing markets.

Responsibilities

• Assist in water/wastewater process and pipeline design projects for industrial and municipal clients.
• Assist in Civil Engineering design and calculations for water, wastewater, and stormwater components.
• Participate in technical studies, product design, and development of specifications and plans.
• Fill out and complete permit applications.
• Support field work including water sampling, site inspection, and field observation reports.
• Prepare plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
