Ascent Engineering Group is seeking a Civil Engineer in Training (EIT) in Sewickley, PA. This role supports civil land development and site design projects, involving preparation of detailed site plans, engineering calculations, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering and 2-3 years of relevant experience, including skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D and knowledge of stormwater management. A collaborative and flexible work environment is emphasized, along with excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• 2-3 years of experience in civil engineering design for Land Development projects.
• Direct experience working with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience in Stormwater Management and Erosion and Sedimentation Control Management.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed engineering designs, prepare technical drawings and models.
• Conduct engineering calculations and analyses to ensure designs are feasible.
• Use design software to create and modify engineering documents.
• Collaborate with other engineers and consultants for comprehensive solutions.
• Research materials, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in client and team meetings, presenting design updates.
• Conduct site visits or inspections as needed.
• Assist in quality control by reviewing engineering deliverables.
