Job summary

Auburn University Water Resources Center seeks an Instructional Outreach Programs Administrator to lead the AL Private Well and Alabama Drought Reach programs and to support related WRC extension programs. This is a three-year limited-term position focused on education, outreach, and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Agronomy and Soils, Forestry and Wildlife Sciences, or closely related field.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Respond to drought and drinking water inquiries; interpret test results.
• Distribute drought survey data to State Climatologist Office.
• Coordinate educational events; develop training materials and curricula.
• Deliver education to youth and adults; evaluate program effectiveness; prepare grant proposals.
• Assist in planning and facilitating the Alabama Water Resources Conference.
