Job summary

Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering (ICE) in Greenville, SC is seeking a Water Resource Design Intern for a 12-week summer program. You will assist senior engineers on drainage-related projects, perform field data collection, and support design tasks under supervision.

Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in Civil or Environmental Engineering as juniors or seniors, with coursework in hydrology or hydraulics; experience with AutoCAD and MS Office is a plus.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering; junior or senior.
• Prior internship experience preferred.
• Experience with field data collection or hydrology/hydraulics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers with design, contract document preparation, and procurement processes.
• Perform complex field data collection and troubleshooting for water resource projects.
• Develop hydrologic and hydraulic models and support stormwater design programs.
• Review documents and designs for compliance with plans and specifications.
• Participate in field investigations and environmental permitting projects.
