Job summary

ICE – Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering in South Carolina is offering a Water Resource Design Intern role for a 12-week period spanning May through August. The intern will work under project managers on drainage design, stormwater components, and related permitting tasks, gaining hands-on experience in field data collection and office analysis.

Qualified candidates are enrolled in Civil/Environmental Engineering, with interest in water resources and some familiarity with AutoCAD and MS

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a Civil or Environmental Engineering degree with junior/senior standing.
• Strong interest in water resources and fieldwork.
• Prior internship would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hydraulic and hydrologic modeling and design tasks.
• Support stormwater design, environmental permitting, and project documentation.
• Contribute to field investigations and site assessments.
• Prepare technical reports and compile data analyses.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure compliance with plans and specs.
• Participate in field/office work with light travel.
