Job summary

Psomas in Tucson, AZ seeks a Civil Engineer Designer for water resources to contribute to stormwater, flood control, and water/wastewater system design and analysis, while growing technical skills with mentors.

You will support multidisciplinary projects, perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, and prepare technical reports with project teams to deliver high-quality solutions for local communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• 0-4 years of civil engineering design experience.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Hydrologic & hydrologic modeling: Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and related calculations.
• Technical Reporting & Documentation: Support technical reports, memorandums, and project documentation.
• Infrastructure Planning & Design Support: Assist with planning, analysis, and design of water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure.
• Fieldwork & Project Coordination: Participate in field visits, data collection, and coordination with project teams.
