Job summary

gpac partners with a growing multi-disciplinary engineering firm to hire a Water Resources Engineer who will design stormwater systems and manage hydrologic analyses. You will collaborate with experienced engineers, advance projects from concept to construction, and contribute to resilient infrastructure for communities.

The role offers exposure to drainage, floodplain studies, and various water resources projects, with potential for growth into project leadership as experience develops.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• EIT or PE preferred, or actively pursuing licensure.
• 2–10 years of experience in water resources, stormwater, drainage, hydraulics or related civil engineering.
• Experience with hydrology/hydraulic modeling tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop water resources and stormwater designs (drainage systems, detention/retention facilities, channels, culverts, storm sewers).
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses using industry-standard modeling tools.
• Prepare engineering calculations, drainage studies, technical reports, plans, specs, and construction documents.
• Support watershed studies, floodplain analysis, flood mitigation projects, and other evaluations.
