Qualified candidates will have a Civil/Environmental Engineering degree, 5+ years in water resources, strong project management skills, and CA PE licensure or ability to obtain within 12 months; proficiency in hydrologic modeling and design tools is

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years in water resources with surface water/flood management focus.
• California PE licensure or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in hydrologic modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Lead water resilience projects, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence.
• Coordinate with internal teams and regulators to secure approvals.
• Perform hydrologic analyses, risk assessments, and feasibility studies.
• Develop scope of work, schedules, and budgets aligned with client expectations.
• Engage clients and stakeholders with regular project updates.
• Mentor junior staff and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Identify new opportunities to grow BKF’s water resources practice.
