Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and at least four years of engineering experience.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations.
• Experience reviewing plans for public water systems and conducting on-site inspections.
• Ability to communicate technical information to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan Review: conduct detailed technical reviews and on-site inspections to ensure compliance with Indiana standards.
• Permit Review: evaluate permit documents, plans, specifications and compliance history.
• Surveys/Inspection: perform surveys and data collection for reports and regulatory actions.
• Technical Assistance: provide guidance on deficiencies and feasible alternatives.
• Enforcement: ensure compliance and testify as an expert when needed.
• Customer Service: respond promptly to public, consultants, and government officials.
