Job summary

CHA Consulting, Inc. seeks an Engineer II to join our Water Team across Indianapolis, Columbus, or Evansville. You will support the design and delivery of water and wastewater projects, while developing expertise through collaboration and hands-on project experience.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, 2 years of related experience, and familiarity with QA/QC and software like Revit, AutoCAD, and MicroStation. EIT is preferred; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum of 2 years of related engineering experience required.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
• Familiarity with QA/QC procedures and engineering software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Participate in development of preliminary design concepts and cost analyses for water/wastewater systems.
• Assist in creating computation methods, technical reports, and specifications under guidance.
• Identify and correct technical discrepancies in analytical results per procedures.
• Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, and firm/client standards.
• Join field assignments with senior staff for hands-on experience in assessment, planning, and rehabilitation.
