Eagle River Water & Sanitation District in Avon, CO seeks a Laboratory Analyst to perform water and wastewater sample collection and analyses. Monday–Friday, 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., with salary range $32.11–$52.05 per hour and opportunities for training and certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Lab Analyst I requires 3 years of lab analysis experience.
• State certification within one year of employment (Colorado).
• Chemistry/biochemistry knowledge and lab techniques preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; must be 18+ and hold a Colorado driver's license; CPR/First Aid within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Lab Analysis: microbiological, chemical, biochemical, nutrient and physical analyses.
• Field Work: collect samples and monitor parameters at District sites and waterways.
• Data & Reporting: record data, perform calculations, enter results into LIMS, generate reports.
• Equipment & Maintenance: prepare reagents, calibrate and maintain lab equipment.
• Customer Service & Compliance: advise on regulatory compliance; respond to inquiries.
